The Challenge
The Navajo Hopi Health Foundation exists to advance health and wellness for the most vulnerable communities in rural Northern Arizona — serving over 35,000 direct patients across 6,000 square miles of western Navajo Nation. Their mission is profound, their resources are not. They needed a digital presence worthy of that mission: one that could communicate their programs, engage donors, and build community trust — without requiring a dedicated technical staff to maintain it.
Built With the Community, Not Just For It
We worked directly with the Foundation to develop a site that reflected the values and voice of the communities it serves. That meant more than good design — it meant listening to how the organization talks about its work and ensuring the site felt like an authentic extension of that identity, not a generic nonprofit template.
The result was a clean, mission-forward WordPress site covering their full range of programs: the first oncology center on any reservation land, the House of Hope cancer support facility, the Hogan Project, specialty care initiatives, fundraising events, and donor and volunteer engagement.
Managed Hosting and Ongoing Maintenance
We hosted and maintained the site for the full engagement period, handling updates, uptime, and security so the Foundation’s team could focus entirely on their work. For an organization operating in underserved communities with limited infrastructure, having a reliable technical partner meant the site simply worked — consistently, without intervention on their end.
The Result
From 2018 to 2022, the Foundation had a stable, professional digital home that supported fundraising, community engagement, and program visibility. It’s the kind of work where the technology recedes and the mission comes forward — which is exactly the point.
