The Project
Zwillinger Wulkan is a firm with real standing—a past president of the State Bar of Arizona on the roster, attorneys recognized by Super Lawyers for more than a decade running, and a practice spanning business litigation, civil rights, personal injury, employment, and Indian law. The work was to put that standing in front of people at the moment they go looking, and to make every lead that results traceable to the channel that produced it.
Built for How People Actually Look for a Lawyer
Legal search is local, urgent, and mobile. Someone facing a lawsuit or a catastrophic injury is not researching for weeks—they are looking now, from a phone, within a few miles of home. We optimized the site around that behavior: practice-area pages structured to match real search intent, technical performance tuned so pages load before an impatient visitor gives up, and a content architecture that gives Google an unambiguous answer to what this firm does and where it does it.
Owning the Local Pack
The map results sitting above the organic listings capture a disproportionate share of legal clicks, and they are won on signals most firms never manage. We built out and optimized the firm’s Google Business Profile—categories, service areas, practice descriptions, photography, and review posture—so the firm surfaces for the practice areas it actually wants, rather than the ones an algorithm guesses at.
Paid Search That Doesn’t Burn Budget
Legal keywords are among the most expensive in all of advertising, and most of that spend buys clicks from people who will never become clients. We built a Google Ads campaign scoped to the firm’s real practice areas and case criteria, with the negative keyword list doing as much work as the positive one. The goal was never traffic. It was the smallest number of clicks that produces the largest number of viable matters.
A Phone Number That Reports Back
Legal leads arrive by phone. We gave Zwillinger Wulkan a dedicated tracking number so every call is attributed to the channel that produced it—organic search, the map listing, or a specific ad campaign—and built end-to-end tracking so qualified leads reach the firm with their source attached. Calls are a measurable channel now, with a known cost and a known yield.
The Result
The firm has an acquisition channel it can see, measure, and turn up: search visibility, a local presence built to convert, paid campaigns aimed at the cases they actually want, and a phone system that reports exactly what produced every call. We did not build this firm’s reputation—their attorneys spent careers doing that. We built the machinery that puts it in front of the right person at the moment they need it.
